Programs

  • Infant: Sleepers: 6 weeks – 10 months, Wobblers: 11 months – 17 months

At Stepping Stones Learning Center, we are dedicated to creating a safe and nurturing environment for all children. In our infant classrooms we strive to make it a calm and enriching experience for infants, parents, and staff. Our daily activity plan includes, but is not limited to: scheduled tummy time, language development, visual and auditory stimulation, and muscle development. Stepping Stones Learning Center staff is passionate about interactions including eye contact, words, and emotional support. These interactions build neural connections that strengthen a child’s development of communication and social skills.

  • Toddlers: Tiny Tots:18 months – 34 months

In the toddler classrooms at Stepping Stones Learning Center, staff work hard to assure children are developing and learning at an age appropriate level. The daily activity plan and weekly themed age appropriate curriculum includes activities such as art, sensory development, language development, fine and gross motor skills, along with social and emotional development. Teachers and staff use one on one settings as well as group activities to provide individualized attention and education to each child.

  • Preschool: Pre-K 1: 3’s, Pre-K 2: 4’s

Stepping Stones Learning Center is proud to provide a safe and fun environment for children to learn and grow. In our preschool age classes, we provide a daily activity plan, along with weekly themed curriculum. For this age group Stepping Stones Learning Center focuses on social skills, language development, sensory development, thinking skills, physical exercise, and plenty of age appropriate learning activities. Teachers provide ample opportunity for student lead learning, and curriculum is created using play based learning strategies, allowing for children to learn and prepare for their future all while having fun.

  • After School, Holiday, and Summer Care [A.H.S.] Program: Pre-K – 4th grade

In our A.H.S. program, school aged students will find a fun and creative learning environment that will be used to help reinforce what they have been learning in their school classrooms. Our A.H.S. program is divided into two classes, Pre-K thru 1st and 2nd thru 4th grades. In this program we continue to focus on social skills, language development, sensory development, thinking skills, physical exercise, and plenty of creative and fun age appropriate learning activities. Teachers provide ample opportunity for student lead learning and curriculum is created using play and critical thinking based learning strategies, allowing for children to learn and prepare for their future all while having fun.

A.H.S. program operational hours:

After school: Monday – Friday, 3pm – 6pm

School Holidays & Summer Care (Full Days): Monday – Friday, 7am – 6pm
